From all of us at North Star Animal Hospital, we’d like to welcome our new clients and thank you for your interest in our veterinary care.

On this page, you’ll find important information that will help you to join the North Star family and ensure that you’re prepared for your first visit. We’ve compiled everything you need to know on this page, so that simply by reading before your first visit, you’ll be especially well prepared.

Whether you visit us frequently or have never seen us before, you can always expect to be greeted with a warm smile. We’ll make sure you’re comfortable whenever you visit, and will take you through each step of our onboarding process, while making sure any questions or concerns are addressed along the way.

If you’re visiting us for the first time, we kindly ask that you have your previous veterinary clinic send medical and vaccination records in advance of your appointment date.

This will allow us to gain comprehensive insight into the existing health of your pet, and will expedite the process of your first appointment.

If these documents aren’t readily available but you are able to provide us with the contact information of your last veterinarian, we will follow-up directly and have the records sent directly to us.

If it’s your first appointment, we ask that you arrive early so that we have ample time to gather medical records and ask any questions necessary before seeing your pet.

This lead time is important to us, and gives us time to enter your pet’s health information into our database. This can help to ensure that your pet is accurately diagnosed and that we are able to expedite waiting times in the future.

This early arrival time, as well as full access to your pet’s existing medical and vaccination records, ensures that we have comprehensive insight into the health and well-being of your pet, and are prepared as possible to deliver the very best solutions we can.
